Words of Christ
Words of Christ
His words, wherever scripture says He spoke.
The words of Jesus Christ, only where the text itself names Him as the one speaking, found by reading every verse and marked down to the phrase, not the narration around them. Read them by occasion, from the Sermon on the Mount to His visit at Bountiful, or book by book.
- Words for Today: one of His sayings each day, ready to read in context
- By occasion or by book, across the New Testament, Book of Mormon, Doctrine and Covenants and Joseph Smith—Matthew
- Turn on “The Lord” to include where the Lord speaks and the text doesn’t name Him as Jesus Christ
- As you read, in the Feed and Full Chapter, His words are tinted red or gold, with His name beside them
